Klinik Kitzinger Land
With a 250-bed capacity, the Klinik Kitzinger Land Hospital (formerly: Kreiskrankenhaus Kitzingen) is the largest inpatient and ambulatory care facility in Kitzingen county. The hospital treats more than 15,000 inpatients every year and takes care of over 5,000 emergency care visits. Our amazing team of 600 plus employees takes care of all of our patients’ needs.
Scope of Services
The Klinik Kitzinger Land offers a wide spectrum of medical services in seven specialty areas, plus a number of therapy services. Our patients receive the highest level of medical care with the aid of the newest medical technologies. In order to continue to provide these outstanding services, our facilities are undergoing comprehensive renovation and expansion.
Structurally, the Klinik Kitzinger Land is separated into several departments. At the core is the hospital in the middle of the town of Kitzingen, that specializes in general, vascular and visceral surgery, anesthesiology, intensive and emergency care, women’s health, labor and delivery, gastroenterology, oncology, diabetes care, ear, nose and throat, cardiology, hypertension, trauma surgery, orthopedics, sports medicine, and emergency care.
For ambulatory care, the Klinik collaborates with the Medizinisches Versorgungszentrum, a physician office building also located on the campus.
Since 2007, the Klinik Kitzinger Land has been operated by the county as a general and routine care hospital.
